CD review: “The Under Cover Sessions” by Ill Nino (Stamford Advocate)
Ill Nino puts its Latin heritage at the forefront of its pulverizing metal sound, adding funky percussion and singing in English and Spanish. As the title of this EP - which is limited to 20,000 copies - alludes, the band also wants to pay tribute to some of its favorite acts, none of which are metal bands, per se. “The Under Cover Sessions” is a five-song teaser and features reworkings of songs
