Collecting MadVideos — Long live the New Recruits (Isthmus)
Six months ago today, word broke that the New Recruits announced their demise. One of Madison’s most entertaining rock bands, NR formed in 1999 and quickly made a name for itself, reaching the storied stages of the Willy Street Fair just a year later. The then-young band played their song “504,” a tribute to the recently-lost O’Cayz Corral. A live concert video of their performance follows below.
