My friend Sharon who I was staying with in New York City was amazed that the New York Dolls were playing the Hoboken Arts Festival. It was pretty odd to see them but more because they haven’t held up very well more than anything (of course this year marks 35 years they’ve been performing so I guess it’s not too bad). This is lead singer David Johansen who apparently still thinks he can pull of tight, low pants.
