Starlight Mints, Chaos in Tejas, Violent Femmes (Austin American-Statesman)
What better way to usher in 2007 — a year no doubt to be full of iPod-type gizmos — than the merger of laptop loops, eerie organs, strings and old-fashioned guitar and tambourine indie rock that is the Starlight Mints . Just like the peppermints at the exit of every Chinese buffet bearing the same name, these Mints refreshing and often just as sugary.
